Happy Monday all, days of sunshine and heat of course. Depart to the office from home using the Busway, it is not so comfortable ride but is very helpful in saving transportation costs and avoid traffic jams.
But there is much that still needs improvement in the operation of the busway, as follows:
1. Total fleet each corridor should be considered, so that there will be no long queues at the shelter. For example in the Dukuh Atas shelter, a comparison between a bus to Ragunan and to Pulogadung very significant. The comparison can be 1: 5 (Ragunan: Pulogadung)
2. Very poor shelter conditions, dirty, dusty, hot (Because the fan and the exhaust is not working / broken). Make it cleans and cold (put airconditioner).
3. The condition of the bus;
a. Many are broken handrails
b. AC is not cool anymore (need to care for periodically cleaned)
Hopefully, local governments and departments of transportation and facilities can fix Busway infrastructure, so more people using the busway instead of using private cars, so that congestion can be reduced.
